Bolu Market, Tanah Toraja, South Sulawesi – Indonesia

Market is never an “IN” thing for me. When I was informed by my guide to pay a visit to Bolu Market , Tanah Toraja (mainly selling vegetables, buffaloes and pigs), I got half-heartedly reluctant to step on the car.

The buffalo’s farm was just ordinary but I was dumbfounded by the pig’s farm. The squealing sound was just disturbing. The scene was pretty much surreal for Indonesia by judging on the Muslim population in the nation. The smell was as bad as ammonia inhalants.

Although my cholesterol level has never been in the red mark, I make a promise to myself to cut down my pork consumption or maybe I should consider going green?
