Day 3 and 4 in Mount Rinjani!

Day 3 in Mount Rinjani : The best view is here!
Route of hike:
– Segara Anak Lake to Plawangan I (moderate to difficult, 4 hours, 2,000m)
– Plawangan I to Rain Forest(easy to moderate, 2 hours)
Camp site: Inside the rain forest

Day 4 in Mount Rinjani: Back to the reality!
Route of hike: Rain Forest to Senaru Village(easy, 2 hours)

We woke up for yet another hike up, some wall-climbing skills came in handy as the cliff is extremely steep. Well, I have to say Plawangan I is the best spot for a full view of Segera Anak Lake, Crater Rim and Summit of Mount Rinjani. The great moment was complimented with a handout of Coca-Cola to quench the thirst from our friendly guide at the crater side

After this challenging zone, it was a moderately easy walk down the mountain with a night of stopover in the forest. The feeling at night can be quite eerie. But thankfully, my camp-mate scared away all the unnecessary objects with his loud snoring sound

All in all, for nature and photography lovers, this hike is a must. The view from the mountain top is crazily stunning and never to be missed!
