Fontainebleau, France: Escape from Paris!

The Grand Staircase

The Grand Staircase

It’s one of those days where a 12 hours flight seems to take forever to get to the final destination. By the time I’m ready for the action, I’m already exhausted by all the anticipation. I just wanted something laid back. There was I, packing light with a box of fruits and few pieces of magazines, heading off to Château de Fontainebleau for quality time away from the hustling Paris. It was indeed a no-frills picnic by the beautiful garden with relaxing setting.
