Kyoto, Japan : The Heritage!

Kiyomizu-dera Temple!

Kiyomizu-dera Temple!

Through the endless exploration to the boundless Japan, Kyoto infinitely steals a special spot in my heart. Getting swept away by its eminently serene temples, sublime gardens, cultural shrines and the flawless aura of the geisha, one can only argue what is there not to love about Kyoto. Once a reining national capital for more than 1000 years, Kyoto had proven itself to be filled with rich culture with 17 World Heritage Sites.

Pacing through the red gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha, gazing at the elegance of geisha in Gion, immersing in the gold prefecture temple in Kinkakuji and the magnificent cherry blossoms that coolly invites you to skip through Philosopher’s Walk. These are just a few of the countless places to soak yourself in the heritage of Kyoto.

I’m waiting ever so patiently for Mother Nature to take its course for Autumn to dawn. The picturesque autumn leaves sway tenderly with the November wind and the burst of orange welcomes and awaits me to re-visit Kyoto. Till we meet again in November!
