Metro Stations in Munich: Modern and Chic!

When it comes to metro stations, few could rival the visual spectacle that is the Munich U-Bahn. Defying the stereotype of metro stations as places of commute packed full of noise, smells and banal architecture, the Munich U-Bahn stations feature chic and modern decor that perfectly fuses aesthetics and functionality. Apart from the stunning visuals, I was also pleasantly surprised by the metro’s day pass that costs EUR 5.6, an inexpensive price tag the likes of which is rarely seen in other metropolis. While daily commute can be a mundane routine, a ride through the Munich U-Bahn stations is undoubtedly a pleasure that compels us to put down our mobile phones to appreciate the artistic beauty.

Here are my top 9 most gorgeous stations in the Munich U-Bahn:

  1. I love metros! in every country I visited, I always enjoy its metro / MRT transportation. But this Munich metro takes my attention. Interesting 😀

Have you visited Moscow or any ex-USSR countries? I heard the metro stations there are packed with classic and glamour style like a palace.
